The purpose of the Neurodevelopmental Disorders Program is to provide a highly structured, supportive environment for Clients who require specialized services and a higher level of supervision when therapeutically necessary as determined by the Treatment Team.
The therapeutic focus of this program is to target identified mental health issues, stabilize the client’s mood, minimize anxiety while also exposing the Client to behavioral services to modify dysfunctional behaviors, and introduce activities and life skills that lead to independence.
Specially trained staff will work with the clients to improve:
• Communication and language
• Social relationships
• Role playing, imagination and creativity
• Self-regulation and self-monitoring
• Academic skills
• Vocational skills
• Self-determination skills
